Rooted in Ubud
Bali Sunny Kids is a nature-inspired early childhood learning community located in Ubud, Bali. Founded in 2023, we welcome children aged 18 months to 6 years into a warm and thoughtfully designed environment where they can explore, play, and grow with confidence.
With intentionally small groups and a spacious green setting, Bali Sunny Kids embraces a child-led approach, where educators gently guide and support each child’s development.
Our Philosophy
At Bali Sunny Kids, we believe childhood is a time for exploration, curiosity, and joyful discovery. We create a nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore the world around them, build confidence, and develop a love for learning.
We see children as capable individuals with their own ideas, interests, and ways of expressing themselves. As Loris Malaguzzi, founder of the Reggio Emilia approach, beautifully said:
"Children have a hundred languages to express themselves."
Curiosity is at the heart of learning. When children feel encouraged to explore, ask questions, and discover new things, they naturally develop creativity and a joy for learning. As Albert Einstein once said:
"I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious."
Just as important is creating an environment where children feel valued and cared for. When children feel safe, respected, and loved, they grow with confidence and empathy. As Fred Rogers reminded us:
"Everyone longs to be loved. And the greatest thing we can do is to let people know they are loved and capable of loving."
